Multi-Structured Learning
With UV’s LVN program, you can graduate within a year; then review and pass your NCLEX-PN and join the healthcare industry as a qualified nurse (LVN). This can be achieved within a 15 month period, including your review and taking of the NCLEX licensure exam for PN to be administered by the State Board of Vocational Nursing (BVNPT) of your choice.
UV’s programs are based on a multi-structured learning that includes a home-study, with the guidance of a tutor. A student will fulfill the requirements of a particular subject at the confines of his/her home, library or any place outside the traditional classroom setting. Unlike other on-line education where they just send books and handouts to students unmindful of whether the students will study or not, UV’s live instruction with live interaction with the student is done from three (3) hours (minimum time) up to nine (9) hours (maximum time) a week, usually on the student’s day’s off from work, since majority of the enrollees are working students.
With the live interaction between the student and instructor, comprehension is enhanced, even better than just in a classroom setting.
This allows the student to study the subject matter at his own time and his own pace, without necessarily leaving his day job.
